Adirondack Colourwash Sprays
Acid free and non toxic water based dye sprays for dying fibre, fabric, card and paper etc. Use to create batik and hand-dyed looks on craft and textile projects. Colours mix with each other and are brilliant when smudged together. Try spraying onto a sheet of acetate and then spreading your card/paper onto it to pick up the inks, wonderful results and so economic with the inks too. Try the faux batik on paper technique, just emboss a solid design onto your card in clear ink and use clear powder, once heated and cooled spray over the Colourwash, try two colours that contrast for fantastic results, dry the ink with a heat gun or let dry naturally. Place the inked piece under a sheet of brown paper or similar and iron using a hot setting but no steam, once the embossing has melted it will appear on your brown paper, it has gone from the inked piece like magic, now tear out and mount or use to collage.
